FARM STAY

ABOUT FARM STAY

At Farm, we welcome all who care for the environment, who wish to participate and be a part of the growth of the community, be a part of the learning process.

Our world is an ever expanding circle of awareness, join us as we awaken to the ecological concerns around us. Share our experiences as new insights and learning sensitise us to the world, the earth, the sky, trees, animals.

There is an ecological world of relationships, the people who become our mentors, teaching us through example. We in turn have become the support others hold on to as they seek to rehabilitate themselves. This ecological environment made of friends, mentors and fellow travellers, creates the well-being we experience as we find our place in the cosmos.
We invite you to visit, participate, teach, learn and become a part of this ecology.

Cost: Rs.1750/- per person per day which includes everything other than travel to and from the farm

Farm is home to the community residents. It is not a hotel or a tourist resort hence we do not know how to put a price on it.The cottages have been built with our own resources and manpower, which is difficult to quantify. We do need an income and therefore appreciate a donation. Our guests also often find it difficult to put a monetary value...hence as a guideline we recommend an amount of Rs.1750/- per person per day which includes everything other than travel to and from the farm. This is essentially to cover our costs.

What can you do there

If you are looking for activity, there is plenty to do on the farm … as a designer, an educator, a farm hand…or even as an architect or a carpenter. It is a great place for urban children to see and participate in an alternate life.If you wish to just come for a quiet retreat, that’s fine as well. There is a fort on a hill(probably from the Mughal period) just 3 km from the farm. It is a great place to go and explore. .
